Used with my Year 5 class for Around the World Week. Our country was Russia so we had the week to find out as much as we could. We made Fabergé Eggs, looked at the architecture of buildings, how large Russia was compared to other countries and had a go at making our own Matryoshka dolls in Maths using accurate measurements. Attached is an information powerpoint, fact cards, an information passport and a powerpoint on Matryoshka dolls. I got the children to measure their own bases for the dolls so they would fit inside one another.
