This task allows students to put their understanding of ratio, scale factors, scaling and similar shapes.
Students will complete 6 scaling challenges on coordinate grids to demonstrate their understanding of scale factors. This will develop students’ fluency in using scale factors geometrically, and their reasoning skills.
This activity also comes with an additional challenge to provoke higher order reasoning and develop mathematical thinking.
