Scriptwriting Cover with Optional Practical Follow-up

This is a 1 or 2 lesson Drama activity suitable for cover or standalone classroom/practical project. Lesson 1 is a scriptwriting exercise, including watching video clip and writing a 50-line script. It works perfectly by itself. If you want to develop it, the second lesson is a practical development of students’ written scripts. I have used both the single classroom lesson for cover and also the 2-lesson version when I had a couple of spare lessons at the end of a SoL. It works perfectly for KS3, especially Years 8 and 9. The resource includes the slides for both lessons and the worksheet for lesson 1. Suggested video link is included but it can be easily adapted to a clip of your own choice.
