It contains key sentence structure, key word writing practice, writing sentence independence progression, sentence writing self-assessment, letter formation supported lines, mainly phonetic-decodable words, repeated simple common words, formative assessment, and colourful pictures.

The booklet has a repeatable format on each page which builds confidence and capability in the pupils. This booklet can be used as a sentence building activity, or used as an intervention. It can also become an independent and pupil-led daily/weekly activity.
