Full mastery lesson about finding missing terms in linear sequences. Focuses on using the constant difference of linear sequences to find one missing term and leads on to finding two consecutive missing terms in a sequence. Includes intelligently varied worksheet which gets progressively more difficult to stretch all students. Powerpoint includes many challenge questions to stretch most able and hints to support less able learners, making it accessible for most abilities across late KS2 and early KS3. Includes ‘quiz, quiz, trade’ activity to review all sequences work as this was taught as the last lesson in a topic.
