KS3 lesson (can be adapted for KS4) on the Sikh practice of Sewa. Lesson explores what it means to be ‘selfless’. Lesson teaches the three different types of Sewa with examples. Lesson uses Langar’s in Gurdwara’s as examples of Sikhs completing Sewa. Lesson finishes with an independent writing task, where students summarise what they have learnt.
