A new PSHE lesson for 25-26. This lesson focuses on the the issue of Sextortion.

The aims of this lesson are:

  • Define sextortion and explain how online grooming and coercion can occur.
  • Understanding how sextortion can develop, and why younger people are most at risk.
  • Analyse case study examples to understand how manipulation and control develop online.
  • Evaluate how to protect ourselves and support others, including how and where to report safely.

The lesson includes a detailed, editable PowerPoint, with activities, teacher talk and worksheets.

This is suitable for KS4 or KS5. This lesson is accessible for specialist and non-specialist PSHE teachers and is ready to use.
