Going to gym class can be an overwhelming experience for many of our students and children, especially those with specialized needs. This social story was created to help make gym class more predictable and to reduce students’ anxiety levels, so they may feel more comfortable entering the gym and participating in gym activities. The story also presents alternatives to gym that still allow students to receive physical activity and feel good about themselves.
