In this product are two social stories for students with Autism (ASD) who are noise-sensitive, triggered by loud noises/sounds.

The first social story is used to teach the student what he/she can do when there are loud noises. Students can learn about the acceptable coping behaviours they can do when they are upset. Hitting friends is not acceptable.

The second social story is used to teach the student on what happens when he/she hits friends.

The visual guide provided works by having the teacher guide the child through a step-by-step sequence on calming down by taking deep breaths, and squeezing hands.
