This colourful PowerPoint of 30 slides introduces each of the 3 Trig ratios, it begins with naming the sides of a right triangle, then explains how sine values are calculated, followed by the sine graph and 2 examples of finding an angle size, then 4 questions, 2 examples of finding side lengths with a further 4 questions. All questions have answers appearing on the screen. Cosine and Tangent follow the same pattern. To complete the presentation there are 6 application questions. Overall, there are 30 questions for students to attempt, For a class that needs less practice at this introductory stage I ask students to work half of the questions, but follow this with homework from a text. The picture here gives some indication of the content.
