Solving Quadratic Equations by Factorising GCSE Maths Revision. This pack includes 24 question cards to solve quadratic equations by factorising.
There are 2 versions of the task cards so that you can print in colour or black and white.

Objectives:
This resource has been designed to practice:
• Rearranging equations to equal zero.
• Factoring equations.
• Solving to find the values for x.
• Solving quadratic equations with x2 and ax2.
• Solving basic x3 equations.

Contents:
This resource includes:
• A single worksheet with all 24 questions.
• 24 question cards on 4 pages (6 per page).
• 24 answer cards on 4 pages (6 per page).
• A recording sheet for students to record each question card with its matching answer card.
• Teachers notes.
• All answers.

Directions:
This resource can be used in three different ways:
• Print and go with a single sheet of 24 questions to print for each student.
• A set of 24 question cards which can be cut up and laminated.
• A set of 24 question cards with 24 matching answer cards to be paired together. A recording sheet is provided for students to record the question card number with its matching answer card.

Notes:
All questions have real solutions.
All answers are included, so you can easily mark students work.
These questions should take around an hour for students to complete.
Some equations use coefficients of x squared greater than 1.
There are also some basic cubic questions, with x as a common factor.
It can be printed in colour or black and white.

Suggestions:
For more able students, use the answer cards and ask the students to work backwards to find out the questions.
