Spanish Alphabet Unit

This 5-day unit for the Spanish alphabet contains classwork assignments for the first 2 days, a vocabulary handout, listening scripts, drills for each day, and a culminating project with a rubric, an example, and a rough draft handout. Each lesson contains detailed plans. This unit incorporates a variety of technology (including the link to a great song on youtube that students will not be able to get out of their heads) and the project uses powerpoint. The classwork assignments include listening, speaking, and writing sections each day. Answer keys are included. Students will learn all 30 letters of the Spanish alphabet, how to spell their names in Spanish, how to spell vocabulary words they have already learned, sound discrimination, and they will get a preview of Spanish 1 vocabulary during their Alphabet book project.
