This is a plan and resources for a beginner’s Spanish lesson for you to use with KS2. It involves children learning the vocabulary for different types of holiday accommodation, such as hotels and tents. You could use the plan for an individual lesson, or as part of a longer holidays unit.
The plan gives details of a game for a starter, how to teach the vocabulary, a whole class speaking and listening game, a reading activity, a reading and writing activity and a plenary game. It is highly interactive and allows children to practise a range of language skills.
