PRIMARY SPANISH NUMBERS 0-31 COMMUNICATIVE WHOLE-GROUP GAME! I HAVE, WHO HAS? is a lively whole-group communicative activity, perfect for practising numbers 0-31 in Spanish. The repetitive nature of the questions and answers really do help to embed key vocabulary. The game has a multi-skill focus: speaking, listening and reading, and some engagement with basic writing in Spanish. Perfect at any time of the school year, starter, warm-up and pick-me-up!

The aim of the game is to create a Spanish human number chain as quickly as possible. The game works best against a timer, regularly over a longer-term series of lessons, and several times in a single lesson – can students beat their own time record?

Students can also apply their knowledge of numbers in a very practical way, practice their Spanish spelling, and put their artistic talents to good use at the same time, by creating their own set of question cards on the quiz card template. Do some high-speed counting warm-up activities, forwards and backwards, to get everyone ready to play!

There are four cards per A4 (8.5 x 11) page, which I’ve found to be just the right size for students as they begin to familiarize themselves with reading and speaking in Spanish.

**BEGINNER SPANISH VOCABULARY CARDS : REFERENCE, RECALL & WRITE WORKBOOKS** *198 words & phrases, with matching English cards* My students really enjoy working independently with this set of *Spanish beginner vocabulary* games and activities, and find that way of working really does help them to develop their confidence and embed the vocabulary into their longer-term memory. They love to quiz / test themselves and each other on a regular basis - it's a very popular alternative to more traditional vocabulary 'drilling tasks'. There are lots of small and whole-group games to play, and I've described a range that have worked well for us. I encourage students to complete the *Notes and Next Steps* sheet regularly - this helps promote reflective learning, encourages students to think about progress they have made, to think about targets for improvement, and how to achieve those targets. Students also note any new vocabulary they learn, helping them to develop a really comprehensive vocab reference bank. *Each set features 99 beginner Spanish words and phrases that students are likely to meet in the introductory stages of their Spanish program:* **Set 1:** = Los saludos = Los días de la semana = Los meses y las estaciones del año = Los números 0-20 = Mi familia = Palabras frecuentes = Frases útiles para la clase = Preguntas y respuestas **Set 2:** = Los saludos = Los colores = Las partes del cuerpo = Los números 21-40 = El tiempo = Frases útiles para la clase = Preguntas y respuestas *Each workbook features all the words and phrases alphabetically Spanish-English and 3 differentiated Recall & Write activities to help your students really practice and review the vocabulary, and to work on spelling and writing:* **Recall Challenge One**: students write from memory all the words and phrases in English from a Spanish prompt - all the words/phrases are in their language category **Recall Challenge Two**: students write from memory all the words and phrases in Spanish from an English prompt - again, all the words and phrases are in their language category **Recall Challenge Three**: all the words and phrases appear in random order, and switch from Spanish to English at each question - this really does put students' memories to the test! There's definitely some prep involved, as there are 198 words and phrases cards, so 396 cards in total - do laminate them if you can, as they are far more learner-friendly and will last for years. The workbook is print, photocopy and go. All files are non-editable in a zipped format. The product is copyright, all rights reserved. It may not be copied, rewritten, shared or distributed in any way. The license for purchase is a single-user license only. I've also included a range of my free-to-download resources you may not have seen in my store. Please read the Terms of Use. **¡MUCHAS GRACIAS Y BUEN APRENDIZAJE!**
