Spanish, subjunctive present: Differentiated verb drills for conjugation practice with answer sheet

This 2-sheet pack includes a differentiated worksheet to practise conjugating regular and irregular verbs in the subjunctive in Spanish and an answer sheet for self-assessment and evidence of AFL. Top Tip: A good extension task for this type of worksheet is to give students additional infinitives, either on a sheet of paper or written on the whiteboard and a dictionary, and then ask students to translate verbs and write them on mini whiteboards. Students love the competition and if they work in pairs they can collaborate and discuss the conjugation process. It also gives you as a teacher valuable feedback about where students’ strengths and weaknesses are but also allows a fantastic opportunity to praise students and build their confidence when they can apply their knowledge to new verbs.
