A powerpoint to remind students how to calculate speed distance time problems and to explain how to calculate average speed of a two part journey. The second part are one of Edexcel's favourite problems that often creeps in, in addition to these problems being in line with the New GCSE curriculum changes and New GCSE questions to come.
The worksheet that accompanies the powerpoint has practise questions, complete with answers.
This makes a nice 50 minute lesson for more able students, alternatively you could break this into two lessons.
