Suitable mainly for KS3 to teach how to use the COUNTIF function in Excel. Lesson contains a guidance sheet on how to perform COUNTIFs, Spreadsheet models to practice performing COUNTIFs (Dancefloor & Football stadium). Differentiated version which does not involve using COUNTIF - just requires basic formulas instead. Slides to demonstrate and guide students through tasks with Starter and Plenary etc. - Cells on football stadium model have 'A's and 'C's hidden in them to count up. Can be changed for any football team. Approx. 1 lesson's worth of work.

The activity is OK. I wish the spreadsheet explained how to use the formula. Also the starter and plenary activities aren't really about the specific topic.
