Spring Watch EYFS

This is an Understanding the World lesson related to Spring. It builds on children’s previous knowledge of seasons but also of growing which was explored at the start of the half term.

Children watch the growing process and understand that in spring flowers start to grow. For the activity, children sequence the growing process from bulb to flower in three steps. This shows their growing independence and understanding of this topic.

The TA activity is taking children for a Spring walk which is lovely to do in small groups or to give each child a clipboard and go as a whole class.
