This lesson is made for remote learning. It teaches students the importance of starchy food in the diet and where they come from.
It also gets students thinking about the different dishes they can make with a starchy carbohydrate base.
It includes videos and varied tasks to keep learners engaged during their virtual food tech lesson.
(For those still doing practicals, this lesson includes a slide to prepare students to make pizza toast or sandwiches next lesson).
