Start Making Notes helps to develop a range of comprehension and note-taking skills, and contains interesting information texts with writing frames for pupils to record key points. It is aimed at KS1 children, including less-able readers. The sheets encourage effective comprehension: accurate close reading to understand the text, and search reading, to locate the specific information required.
