EYFS Number - Subtraction to 10 - Interactive Tool
This interactive tool provides a visual demonstration of subtracting numbers from a larger amount. Teachers can place a number of squirrels on a branch and select a number of squirrels to remove. Pupils can then be asked to work out how many squirrels will be left on screen before an animation confirms the answer. Set number problems, such as "how many will be left?", to check pupils' understanding. This is a great tool to use with the whole class on an interactive whiteboard.
