T-Level Health 2023-2024 complete pick-up-and-run teaching package for B2.14 , B2.15 , B2.16 and B1.28 If you are following my SoW it is for weeks beginning 15th & 22nd January 2024.

There is a 108 slide presentation which you can stop-start, set slides as homework, encourages class discussions and has embedded YouTube clips to engage learners. Exam practice is embedded in the presentation when a topic is covered alongside this is a 27 page booklet with guided for note taking. In addition there is a completed copy of the booklet for the teacher (suitable for a cover teacher or student who has been absent) there are separate activities and exam questions (with answers)

There is a revision dice roll game too.

There is an end of topic 85-mark exam with and easy to follow mark scheme which lends itself to peer marking.

B2.16 The development, impact and management of diabetes:
• causes of diabetes:
o type 1
o type 2
o gestational
• impact on systems within the body and on physical and mental health
• how common treatments relieve symptoms:
o type 1:
 insulin – injections and pumps
o type 2 and gestational:
 lifestyle changes
 metformin medication
