This is an excellent markbook. With students who have a target of an 'A' and achieve an 'A*' the progress column reads as '0' and is coloured yellow/amber. Is there a way of changing that so that it records '1' for progress and is green?
The full version of the Ultimate Excel Markbook has many more columns for assessments. Definitely enough for a whole year of topic tests and homework e.t.c. The programming is excellent. Colour coding as I enter data gives me an immediate impression of who needs more practise and who is repeatedly getting higher marks (and therefore needs stretching) as well as class averages. The printout analysis for parents evening is swift -every student an individual analysis at the touch of a button. Just hand it to parents at parents evening. It's so clear how well the student is doing and saves about five minutes of conversation. My class overview is better, conversations with parents are more meaningful and focus more on action. It's way better than any of the online portals I've seen. Highly recommended.
