This package includes a 65 page follow along PowerPoint, 4 page printable publisher worksheets and resources and a 6 page pre typed customisable lesson plan template.

This is a power point follow along that will help students to understand how the Primary, Secondary and Tertiary colours are mixed, describe the Opposite (contrasting) colours and why they are beneficial when painting, teach students how to create Tints and Shades, as well as how to mix a brown and black with Primary colours. I have found that this power point on average will take about three lessons to go through with students while allowing them the time to explore and experiment with paint mixing. This package comes with printable hand outs, differentiated hand outs, final (exemplar) study, key word print out and display, and a lesson plan.

Why this product was designed:
This product is designed to get students to become familiar with colours and how they work together. Furthermore, it will help students to understand how to mix colours found on the colour wheel.

Intended use for:
This product is intended for early Secondary School aged students but can be adapted for senior elementary students by focusing solely on the colour wheel only and negating the advanced tints, shades and opposite parts of the colour theory.
