Resource contains a total of 30 different tetromino sets (math activities) on the topic complex positive and negative fractions arranged as follows:

• 30 tetromino sets composed of 9 square pieces each
• black-and-white versions of all 30 tetromino sets for ink saving
• answer key for all tetromino sets

Instructions for Working with the Resource
Tetromino works like trimino, but it contains square pieces. Print the pages in A4 or A3 size (Letter or Tabloid). Each student or group of students receives a sheet with one type of tetromino, which they cut into individual squares, shuffle, and then assemble. The number of available tetromino sets allows you to:

• give each student the same tetromino and repeat the activity in a different lesson
• give each student a different tetromino
• give groups the same or different tetromino sets
