This assembly starts with the words of a poem “Peace in the Welsh Hills” by Vernon Watkins and uses it to illustrate the main idea of the assembly which is about how to cope in a world which seems so full of change and uncertainty. Hard work is the key for the preparation for the adventure ahead, whatever the changes are. Teachers too have had to change and adapt their role which is essential to motivate students. The poem is used as a base to make the idea interesting showing that when opportunities present themselves after the storm the students will be best placed if they are prepared.
