The Brain and Nervous system

A teaching unit of 8 to 9 lessons about the brain and the nervous system. Each lesson has a range of separate tasks with an introduction, an experiment or activity evaluation and a quiz. Also included is a slides presentation with guidance and answers.
These lessons are suitable for the upper end of primary and the lower end of secondary. Topics include: brain structure and function (making a model brain), reflexes investigation, neuron structure and function, the Central and peripheral nervous system, senses investigation, protecting our brain, how we learn and multiple intelligences.
