This is a resource designed to encourage close reading of chapters 24, 25 and 26 of ‘The Handmaid’s Tale’ for A Level.
This includes a summary of the action and then takes the students through each of the chapters with focused tasks.
There are tasks/questions on each slide which students can answer independently if working out of class or can be used for discussion in class.
This can be used in class or set as homework for flipped learning to prepare students for discussion in class and/or exam practice.
I have included images for students who may need a visual prompt to contextualize cultural references.
