This lesson covers the iterative design cycle, how to break down a client brief, primary versus secondary research, anthropometrics, and writing measurable specification points using ACCESS FM. It is a ready-to-teach PowerPoint scaffold for an hour-long lesson on the design process. An original client brief is analysed in full, three real iterations are traced with the test result behind each change, and material properties, the six Rs of sustainability and four modelling methods are covered. Two interactive tasks are included: turning a fresh brief into eight testable specification points, and running three recorded iterations on a concept.
