The Mindful Toolkit is an 85-page resource designed to support learners understand and overcome their experience of Maths Anxiety. Through engaging activities, reflective exercises, and practical tools, the toolkit also aims to build learners’ confidence, resilience, and a more positive relationship with Maths.

This toolkit is split into two carefully designed sections:

Understanding Maths Anxiety - This section explores what Maths Anxiety is, why someone might experience it, and how it can make our bodies and minds react. Through reflection and self-awareness, learners will be able to recognise their own patterns and triggers.

Overcoming Maths Anxiety - This section outlines 10 powerful tools to help learners move forward and build resilience. These are split into Mind Tools, focusing on how to change learners’ mindsets, and Action Tools, focusing on changing the way learners respond and behave to Maths.

The toolkit is designed to be flexible - learners go at their own pace, use what works for them, and return to it whenever they need.

Understanding and managing Maths Anxiety can unlock their confidence, open up new opportunities, and transform how they feel. It’s not about being perfect at Maths - it’s about feeling calmer, more in control, and able to keep going even when things feel tricky.
