Bring the drama, deduction and deception of The Traitors into your school — safely and brilliantly.

This is a fully-planned, ready-to-run Traitors-style game for school staff, designed to be played alongside the normal school day. Inspired by the hit TV show, the game creates excitement, laughter and genuine teamwork while remaining staff-only, safeguarding-aware and flexible to your setting.

Players are secretly assigned as Faithfuls or Traitors, complete tasks to build prize funds, attend daily “Round Tables” to accuse and defend, and attempt to outwit their colleagues — all while continuing with their usual roles in school.

Ideal for staff wellbeing, end-of-term activities, or a whole-school morale boost.

This downloadable pack contains 50+ pages of everything you need to host the game, including:

  • Clear game rules and structure

  • Detailed host guidance and tips

  • Printable role cards (Faithful, Traitor, recruitment)

  • Round Table voting system and final showdown format

  • Secret Faithful tasks (optional, low-pressure, creative)

  • Traitor sabotage tasks (staff-only, humorous and safe)

  • “Murders in plain sight” scenarios

-Whole-group challenges to build the prize pot

  • Printable death warrants, shields and game cards

  • Ready-to-send staff email to launch the game

  • Flexible design to suit small or large staff teams

Why my school loved it:
✔ Builds real staff buzz and conversation
✔ Encourages teamwork, problem-solving and creativity
✔ Easy to run alongside normal teaching
✔ Fully adaptable — go light-hearted or full drama
✔ No prior knowledge of the TV show needed

Key Information:

  • Audience: School staff only
  • Duration: Flexible (recommended 1–2 weeks)
  • Preparation: Minimal — print and go
  • Safeguarding: Designed to avoid student involvement
  • Technology: Optional use of WhatsApp / Teams / Forms

I hosted this game with my school (secondary) in January and it really created a buzz around the school. It was perfect to offset those January blues and get us over the hump to the February half term.
