A fully-resourced, detailed and differentiated 2 hour lesson which could be used over a week of Tutor Time. Students will explore the upcoming US Election, the candidates, the parties and the policies as well as the particular challenges facing US voters this November. There will be a class vote (based only on policies - so students can’t be biased by what they already know - with who they voted for revealed afterwards), a creative task, literacy task, clips task and much more.
This lesson can also be found in our Two Years of Tutor Time Package.
This lesson is editable, so easy to adapt for your own planning and is best suited to KS3 / KS4.
It is well-differentiated with three-level challenges for each task, contains a variety of activities, an hour long PowerPoint, a two page information pack, detailed worksheets, clips with differentiated questions, clear measurable LOs, new key-term introductions and other activities.
It is fully editable, engaging and very easy to follow.
