I built this because I kept rewriting the same three-level structure from scratch every time I moved to a new subject or topic. Eventually I just stripped it down to the bare bones so I could reuse it properly.

Working with learners coming from a wide range of backgrounds and disparate challenges, I can gradually withdraw scaffolded prompts as they gain experience and self-confidence, showing progression in skills and understanding.

It’s three blank templates, colour-coded green, amber, orange. Level 1 has the full sentence starters and a writing frame with gaps. Level 2 keeps the structure but strips most of the prompts out. Level 3 is just the success criteria and blank space. You fill in your own task, your own subject content, your own success criteria - the framework does the differentiating for you.
I use the same colour-coding across all my SEND resources so students start to recognise it on sight, which matters more than it sounds like it should.
Works for any subject, any key stage. There’s a step-by-step page on adapting it, plus a quick accessibility checklist (font, spacing, contrast) at the back if that’s useful.

Let me know if it’s useful, or if there’s a tweak that would make it work better for your group.

Working through GCSE Business specifically? My Edexcel Theme 2 bundle applies this exact framework with full topic content already built in: https://www.tes.com/teaching-resource/resource-13493144

SEND, scaffolding, differentiation, alternative provision, special educational needs, template, three level scaffolding, accessibility, EAL, low ability, SEN, mixed ability, any subject
