A lovely interactive communication activity based on The Three Little Pigs story.

Images of well known story book characters appear on the ring door bell at the house of the three little pigs.
Stick the image of the character behind the ring door bell template page. Shine a torch from the back of the page and the image will appear on the right door bell screen. Learners can point on the grid to the side to communicate “I see…”.
I used this as a basic communication activity for my ASD class to match and name characters. It is a great way to engage with story characters the children are always very excited to see a character appear when the torch shines from behind.

The other pages extend the activity into a conversation about the different fairy tale characters. Would you let The Little Red Hen in? Yes she has brought us some tasty bread. Would you let the wolf in? No he is trying to eat them? Would you let Goldilocks in? Maybe, she won’t eat them but she might jump on their beds or break a chair?
