Transform your Years 5–6 PE provision with a complete, progressive and teacher-ready curriculum containing 120 high-quality lessons across 17 comprehensive schemes of learning. Designed to reduce planning time without compromising teaching quality, this package gives schools everything needed to deliver engaging, inclusive and purposeful PE across a broad and balanced range of activities.

The package includes American Line Dancing, Athletics, Badminton, Basketball, Environment Dance, Secret Mission Dance, Football, Global and Cultural Invasion Games, Gymnastics, Handball, Hockey, Netball, Orienteering, Tag Rugby, Short Tennis and Paddle Tennis, Sportshall Athletics, and Striking and Fielding. This exceptional breadth allows schools to provide pupils with familiar sporting experiences alongside exciting opportunities such as Kī-o-rahi, Ultimate, Korfball, non-contact Kabaddi and creatively themed dance.

Every scheme begins with clear curriculum context, learning progression, vocabulary, assessment and inclusive-delivery guidance. Each individual lesson includes a comprehensive written plan and an accompanying visual infographic, making the activities, organisation and key teaching points easy to understand. Equipment, timings, measurements, groupings, safety expectations and non-active pupil roles are included so teachers can deliver each lesson confidently.

The consistent TME approach incorporates Know and Show learning outcomes, Explore, Develop and Apply activities, Head–Heart–Hands assessment, Assessment for Learning questions and clear success criteria. STEP differentiation provides practical ways to adapt Space, Task, Equipment and People, while SEND and EAL guidance supports meaningful participation without lowering expectations. Plan–Monitor–Reflect prompts also develop metacognition, oracy and pupils’ ability to evaluate and improve their own learning.

Across the curriculum, pupils progressively develop physical competence, tactical understanding, creativity, communication, teamwork, resilience and independence. Opportunities to lead, coach, officiate, collaborate and compete help children understand PE more deeply while building confidence and positive attitudes towards physical activity.
