A lesson for topic 1.4 (Making a Business Effective) for Edexcel GCSE 9-1 Business.
Lesson covers the key content covered in the core textbook for the different forms /types of Business Ownership (Including Sole Trader, Partnership/Private Limited Company and Franchising)
The Lesson powerpoint covers each of the different business ownership options in some detail, with the option for students to take notes .
The Starter is a case study from the core textbook( YORK COCOA HOUSE on Pg 89) - It is a lead in to get students thinking and discussing the topic content.
Lesson Intro is a series of picture of famous partnerships e.g Ant & Dec, Batman & Robin as a link into partnership business model. This links into a brief partnership case study on MO BRO’s on Pg 90. If access to the core textbook is not available information on MO BRO’s online can be used to facilitate this activity.
BBC Teach videos are embedded in the presentation to provide an VAK stimulus into the lesson via practical relevant business examples.
Plenary/ Starter worksheets are included.
