This PowerPoint will certainly stimulate the interest of your students, given the conversion of one cubic centimetre of gold having a weight of 19.28 grams, and given 3 of the 4 typical measurements for gold bars,( Length Width Height and Weight) students are challenged to find a missing measurement. 2 examples are calculated for students to copy, and 6 questions set. The sixth question considers the worlds largest gold bar. The questions can be worked by students directly from the smart board or printed from the word document included here (clip of this is shown on the picture), two copies on one A4, alternatively a worksheet with the two examples and 6 questions is also included.
