Trig identities - intro and proofs

This 24 page trig identity booklet was developed in response to students being frustrated because the textbooks did not always explain how and/or why one identity is equal to another. The first few pages show how simple identities, such as tan is equal to sin/cos. The booklet then goes onto explaining the step by step process to proving that two trig identities are equal. The rest of the booklet is broken into two parts, where the first part shows step by step how to solve different levels of difficulty with explanations next to each step. The final section consists of worksheets with full solutions included at the end.
