This resource continues from a resource entitled ‘Trig in 3D involving Right-angled Triangles’ . It is aimed at strong KS4 students taking the Higher paper.

The resource consists of a presentation and worksheet. Wo. rked solutions to all questions in the worksheet are included in the presentation.

The lesson starts with revision of using Pythagoras and of applying trig to right-angled triangles.

After an example of analysing a non right-angled triangle, there is plenty of mini white board work where students are asked to find a single length, angle or area. The shapes used in this section are cuboids, cones and prisms.

The lesson ends with a worksheet of 8 questions.
