This is an approximately 12 lesson Powerpoint project to design and make an underwater scene using a variety of media (paint, ink, collage, print, pastels etc).
There are 14 slides which direct students to experiment with making the sea, seabed, rocks and seaweed, sea creatures and two compositions.
Students then select their chosen composition to make as a larger final piece.
I have completed this project with both Year 7 and 8 pupils. They enjoyed using mixed media to produce creative responses to the theme.
