Simple basic shapes are used as building blocks in the creation of each model. Models have been developed over years of teaching practical, hands-on pottery to school children, adults and students with special educational needs. Basic pottery skills are embodied in the designs and the upright nature of the figures leads to self-expression from students who can decorate the figures as imaginary people, adding hats, aprons scarves and even sport shirts.
