This is an older resource that I have used previously with my GCSE Business groups to help improve their exam technique skills - this lesson resource aims to help students understand the importance of using data and evidence to support their analysis and judgements, through completing the groups tasks related to Dr Pepper’s product and promotional mix (as part of the marketing mix).

Such skills are essential for final exams, as well as preparing students for controlled assessment and obtaining the ‘higher level’ A03 analysis and evaluation marks.

The learning aims of the lesson are as follows:
A - Recap key elements of the marketing mix (product and promotion)
B - Use data to make and support judgements

This resource has certainly helped my class and is thoroughly recommended for all centres. It comes complete with differentiated group tasks, as well as a PowerPoint Presentation, Market Research Case Study sheet and Lesson Plan, making it also suitable for a Lesson Observation.
