Key Stage 4 ~ GCSE Biology~ lesson on Variation. This lesson has a heavy literacy focus and provides opportunities to practice using the keywords from AQA GCSE Biology Topic 6 in context. In this lesson, students will state what is meant by variation in a species, describe how variation arises in a population and decide whether example characteristics vary due to genes, environment or both. Extension questions are included on the slides and there is a pick and mix of different tasks to select from for your students. Follows the GCSE Biology AQA course.
