Viva 2 Module 5.3 ¿Dónde está?

This resource goes alongside the teaching of Viva 2 Module 5.3 ¿Dónde está? The Power Point starts by introducing the new places in town which are used in the module, and then the directions. There are 2 slides to drill the vocabulary for the directions. The Power Point then moves onto the listening exercises Escuchar 1 and 2. There is then an explanation of the imperative and there is an exercise to follow on this. After is the listening exercise (song) and there is an extension exercise using the new vocabulary in the song, this is then followed by Leer 6. As a plenary students must look at the pictures and ask the question ‘Where is…?’ and then from the directions prompts say how to get to each place. All the answers to the exercises in the text book are provided.

• a sheet with the pictures of all the directions. Students put the Spanish for each direction under each picture.
• 2 differentiated worksheets on the imperative with translation exercises and a word search.
• a map for pupils to practice asking for and giving directions.
