Three activities aimed at GCSE pupils working on the surface area and volume of prisms, pyramids, cones and spheres.

1. Surface Area of Cuboids Odd One Out
In this activity students must decide which cuboid in each row has a different surface area to the others. There is also an extension activity based around finding the missing dimensions of cuboids given their surface areas.

2. Volume and Surface Area of Prisms Worksheet
This worksheet asks students to find the surface area and volume of a range of different prisms, including a cylinder cut in half. The worksheet is designed to make it easy to check for understanding, since students must record their answers in the table given.

3. Volume of Pyramids, Cones & Spheres: Which volume is largest?
This activity requires students to compare solids and decide, in each row, which solid is largest? Includes prisms, pyramids, cones and spheres.
