*Who Are You? *is a printable educational trail designed to help children explore the world of portraiture at the Wallace Collection in London. Through close observation of 11 paintings, children investigate the people portrayed while also thinking about their own personalities.

About the Trail:
• Includes a 12-page printable PDF with an answer sheet and a museum map with the trail route marked
• Designed for children aged around 7–12 (KS1, KS2 and KS3)
• Suitable for families, home educators and school groups
• Takes approximately 1 hour to complete
• Encourages close looking and careful observation of artworks
• Requires no prior knowledge of art from children or accompanying adults
• Designed to be used on-site at the Wallace Collection, London (Hertford House, Manchester Square, W1U 3BN)

How to Use the Trail:

1. Print the trail before your visit.
2. Bring a pencil.
3. Follow the route through the Wallace Collection.
4. Let your child complete the activities and explore the artworks.
5. Check the answers together at the end, or use the answer sheet during your visit if needed.

Please Note:
Objects at the Wallace Collection may occasionally be temporarily removed from display. This can happen for several reasons: an object may be undergoing conservation or restoration, be on loan to another institution, or be included in a temporary exhibition at the Wallace Collection.

If one of the objects featured in the trail is not on display during your visit, but your child would still like to complete the activity, you can use the Wallace Collection’s website to view a high-quality digital image of the object.
