Drama Scheme of Learning for looking at the play and film War Horse. This topic of work lends itself best to KS3 and I did this with my Year 7 classes.
The students spend time looking at the different elementd of War Horse and how different elements can come together to help create this piece. Breaking down sections of the story and using these elements to then create their own version of War Horse at the end of the topic.
Techniques used are:
Still-image, thought-tracking, devising, script work and script writing, naturalistic and non-naturalistic theatre.
