Three lessons looking at the reasons why businesses grow, how they can grow and what problems can arise if they grow too quickly.

Why grow - reasons why businesses should want to grow, the benefits and drawbacks of doing so with a case study and set of questions based around Starbucks. Examples of businesses that have grown from small enterprises to multinationals to begin the lesson.

Methods of Expansion - detailed notes and examples of business growth, research activity for learners to find real-life examples of businesses that have grown using the different types of growth. Exam question based on Primark.

Stakeholder Conflict - thorough look at how different stakeholder groups are impacted by the growth of a business and how each of these groups can react and influence business' decisions. Group work with a choice of activity based on learner's preferred styles and an exam question to finish - recently observed with this lesson - went very well - lots of activities, will keep you busy for more than one period.

All lessons include notes and activities - lessons are engaging, with lots of visual queues and examples learners will be familiar with. All lessons have a set of questions to do as they enter the room based on prior learning.

Any feedback is greatly appreciated.

Thanks Shaun
