Winter Number Puzzle. Counting to 20. Number sequencing

Winter themed number counting puzzles. Pupils can pick between pre-printed winter pictures to put back together in order, or choose a black and white picture and colour in after putting it in the right order. They could also trim the pictures themselves to develop their scissor / cutting skills.

Children could stick them down on card to help develop those sticking skills. Or you could print them on card or laminate to make them more durable.

These puzzles develop:

• number recognition skills,
• number ordering
• counting
• co-ordination
• fine motor skills

Different number combinations for all abilities. 0-5, 0-9, 10-20 in a PDF format, or you could also choose to download the editable Power Point version of this resource and insert your own number combinations: Higher numbers, step counting in 2s, 5s or 10s - endless possibilities. PLEASE NOTE if you choose the editable version you may not be able to use the same font!
