Learners explore their own skills, qualities and strengths before identifying an area they would like to improve. They then consider appropriate short-term goals, choose and agree one personal goal, identify the steps and support needed, set deadlines and complete activities to work towards it.
Activities include self-assessment, goal selection, goal agreement, goal planning, identifying sources of support, setting deadlines, practical activity records, photo or work evidence, progress reviews and a final reflection on whether the goal has been achieved.
The workbook also includes an assessment record and adult confirmation sections to support evidence gathering.
